Install problems

I am doing a complete reload. The problem I am having is that a lot of the
net*** files fail to load. If I select to skip these files, I envariably
receive a fatal error and looking at the log I am unable to decifer them.

Errors received:
netcfgx.dll, netman.dll, netshell.dll, Load Library, error 126
netoc.dll coud not be found or netocsetupproc could not be found, error 0x7e
Fatal Error; Setup was unable to initialize Network installation components.
The specific error code is 2.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like your Windows XP CD-ROM may be damaged, is this an original
CD-ROM or is it a burned copy with a slipstreamed service pack? Are there
any scratches on the bottom of the CD-ROM?

Kristan:

This is a copy of my original cd that my ex-wife got in the divorce. The cd
is in excellent condition. I have also done maintenace on the optics of my
dvd/cdrw drive. I can use it use basic dos bootable cd's, which is why I
finally posted this.

Thank you for the ideas, if any other ideas seem applicable, please post
again!
