Install problems

When I try to install on Win XP Home, I get several
dialog boxes saying "Failed to register xxx.dll" with
several different DLLs named in successive dialog boxes.
If I click OK to get through these messages, the install
completes but the program will not run and a "Critical
error" dialog is displayed. When I try to uninstall, I
get the same messages except they say "Failed to
unregister xxx.dll".

Are you using an account which is an administrator?

This won't work with a limited account, nor will all program functionality
be available if you run it routinely as a limited user, even though that is
a more secure way to run your machine.

If you are still unable to uninstall as an administrator, you can use the
Windows Installer cleanup tool to remove the remaining bits of Microsoft
Antispyware from the installer information areas:
