I work in a small office where two pc's are networked using windows98 basic
connections & network neighbourhood. Access97 was installed on one of the
pcs before my time, a few years ago is my guess. It is my understanding
that it is a valid installation, but no one knows where the original CD is
located. I want to install another (valid copy of Access97) on the other
pc. I have a legal copy with license no, but when I install it giving the
license no etc. I get the message "Ms Access cannot start because there is
no license for it on this machine". I have tried un-installing and then
re-installing but get the same error message.

Any help would be much appreciated. I thought of checking the registry, but
am a neophyte at this stuff and am afraid of screwing something up:)

Any help would be much appreciated.
