Install .net CF 2 beta on Windows CE 4.1?

Hi,

I have a Casio Windows CE device, running Windows CE 4.1, and would like to
install .net CF 2 beta on it. Is this actually possible? Executing the .cab
file on the device installs CF2 beta, but "cgacutil.exe" still shows
1.0.4292.00 as the CF version. I can't deploy from VS2005 either, since
there's just a "Windows CE 5.0 device" but no Win CE 4.1.

Thanks for any help..

Kind regards,

Roland

Oh, silly me.
That didn't really come up my mind, since I thought PPC2003 is based on
WinCE 4.2.
Anyway, thank you for the answer and sorry for the stupid question :)

Kind regards,

Roland

You are right, but on PPC the situation is better. .NET CF 1.0 even runs on
PPC2000 which is based on WinCe 3.0.
