install macromedia flash player

Now here's a weird one.....
I have macromedia flash player 8 installed on my computer.Every now and then
it tells me that I need to install macromedia player in order to have a
proper display.It never is uninstalled but it just continuing to ask me to
install it again.Any clues???
 
I have actually come accross this a few times. If it was a constant then i
woould uninstall then reinstall. The times that I have experienced this was
when a site or application was having issues flash 8. For example comcast
site would have this issue with flash 8 but not flash seven. I think 8is
still a little buggy. If it happens all the time I would unintall via
add/remove programs, then reinstall, which can be done at macromedia.com.

It's probably a buggy Macromedia install on the server side of the
particular web site.
