Install.log file

When I try to uninstall some programs I dont need it comes as error message
saying cannot open install.log file.

How do I go about this.

Did the application/program came with an uninstall component? If not then
there goes your problem. You can delete unwanted apps by using a some sort of
a delete utility. There's quite a few of them, search in google.

This means that the install.log file for which the program's uninstaller
is looking (in order to do the uninstall) is missing. In most cases,
the easiest thing to do is reinstall the application and then uninstall
it.
