Install Frontpage 2000 on Vista machine

I have Frontpage 2000 as part of an Office suite and wanted to install it
(Frontpage only) on my new Vista computer with Office 2007 on it.
When installing I was promted for the disk and it ended up installing the
whole program, currupting the 2007 suite.
Is it possible to do?

You can't install the shared office components when you install an program
that uses older (or newer) versions of the office shared components then the
suite of office you're using. That's what corrupted things since FP 2000
installed the shared office components that came with Office 2000, basically
nuking the ones for Office 2007. FP 2000 has a number of issues with Vista
though that have caused some users headaches. You may want to look at
upgrading to Expression Web since you can do it for only about $90 so long
as you have a valid copy of FrontPage (any version I believe).

I had deleted the old office from my computer. Is it possible to use an
upgrade version without the having FP2000 installed. Thanks for your help.

Due to overlapping of some of the tools / add ins in the office suites, it
is recommended to install the versions of office by order of release- Try
not to install the MS Shared components on any of the older versions.
