Is this the old DOS game Crusader or something else? Anyway, it sounds like
an installation gone bad with some old registry entries that won't go away.
You could try deleting the folder with the game from your system and then
using a registry cleaning program to remove the old game entries. I did a
Google search for "registry cleaner" and found several applications with a
trial period that should do the trick.
