Have a new p 4 with all the goodies
I wanted xp pro on my hard drive but it came with xp home
When I installed xp pro it wiped out all the drivers. So I installed XP pro on another hard drive, in the same computer but the drivers from one hard drive do not function on the other. The driver install disk on the drive with xp pro, wanted to restore my xp Home again. I need the drivers on xp pro, especially for my on intel board sound . I do not want to lose my Xp pro to hear music.

Have you checked the manufacturers web site for drivers? If you can't find
drivers or need software that was bundled with the computer, you need to
restore the system back to original shipped state, then upgrade instead of
clean installing. Not knowing exactly what kind of computer you purchased or
if you have the upgrade, retail Pro or OEM version of XP, it is not possible
to give specific information.
