Insertion point size difference

R

Ricki Miles

I am using Word 2003 and intermittently the insertion point will change to a
much smaller size. This seems to have nothing to do with any actions I have
just done. To get the size back, I click on the Zoom percentage and it
returns to its normal larger size. Any suggestions as to why this happens?
Thanks,

Ricki

Nobody seems to know why this happens but you seem to have found the only
known solution.

However if it keeps popping back, you can fix it by adding the zoom commands
to autoopen and autonew macros, which ie

Add the following to both an autoopen and autonew macro

With ActiveWindow.View
.Type = wdPrintView
.Zoom.Percentage = 500
.Zoom.Percentage = 100
End With
