insertion point on bottom of page

microsoft word insertion point

hey microsoft2007 word......in a new document the insertion point is on da
bottom of the page...i dont know why
 
On the Page Layout tab of the ribbon, click the little arrow button in the
bottom right corner of the Page Setup group to open the Page Setup dialog.
Go to the Layout tab of the dialog. If the Vertical Alignment box doesn't
say "Top", change it to that. Then click the Default button at the bottom of
the dialog.
