Inserting .wmv movie in the PowerPoint Presentation

For some unknown reason I can not insert .wmv movie clip in the
PowerPoint presentation. I have no problem inserting .avi or .mpeg
movies. The movie was captured from digital camera using microsoft
movie maker which gives you the movie in .wmv format.

Has any one encountered the above problem and if so can you please help
me how to resolve this problem.

Hello Assis,

You might want to try the following,
1.Upgrade DirectX to the latest version.
2.Upgrade Windows Media Player to the latest version.

A good deal depends on the codec you use to compress the file. If you left
everything at the default settings it will not play properly in PPT. I
suggest selecting the save for local playback at 1 meg per second.

Maybe powerpoint can help you solve your problem. such tool not
only supports WMV but also almost all the video formats can be played
in the powerpoint programma. moreover, many menu templet can be
selected by your personality.
