When I insert a video clip, the window appears black and no video plays. The mpeg plays outside PP in Windows Media Player. Any suggestions? Thanks.

If you are using Windows XP open Windows movie maker
(Start>Accessories>Windows Movie maker), start a new project. Import
your video file, drag it to the storyboard. Choose save to my
computer.Follow the prompts. Now insert that movie into PowerPoint.
which will be published in September. When people find that I am
interested in this, I get asked a lot of questions, and most of them
can be answered from this board.
The book is more to do with things like how to present, how to get
X-rays into PowerPoint, ethics, consent etc, but does give some basic
instruction.
