Inserting TIF Pictures PP XP

I've had problems inserting .tifm into Powerpoint XP.
Some will open and some just come in looking like static
on a TV screen. Any advise is apprecitated.

This is one of the reasons I've never liked the TIF format. There are toooo many flavors to make it reliable.

The static look sounds like powerpoint thought your TIF image was Flavor A when in fact it maybe flavor B.

Try opening the problem tifs in another application (photoshop..paintshop pro). They may open OK...if they do resave
them as a PNG file. Then insert the PNG into powerpoint. PNGs just work. TIFs give you problems.
