Go to File/Set up Page and choose Sheet tab. There check "Headind of
rows and columns" (I have Slovak version, so mayby there is a little
difference in names).
In the column that is right next to your list, in the row adjacent to your
first entry - enter:
1
In the next row enter:
2
Then select *both* cells.
Move your cursor over the tiny black square that is in the lower right
corner of the selection until the cursor changes to a skinny black cross.
Then just double click !
This works if there are no blank rows in your list.
If there are blanks, instead of double clicking, click and drag down as far
as needed.

I can't figure out how to print out row numbers to count
the number of items in my lists. Any help would be
appreciated.
