Inserting previous emails

I look after somebody else's email account and they view it only
infrequently. When there is a series of emails on the same subject what I
want to do is just to leave the final email in the inbox but attach/insert
the previous ones so he can look at them if he wants to. I know how to
insert a previous email when forwarding/replying to a message but can't seem
to do it when it is just sitting in the inbox.

Open the first message. Click Edit>Edit Message. Drag the remainder to
this message. Close the message and click Yes when prompted if you want to
save the changes. Now you can delete the messages you attached.

Keep in mind, though, that this doesn't save space. If I were doing this,
I'd simply move the message and its related messages to another folder,
probably in another PST.
