Inserting photos and changing start time

Hi all,

Sorry probably a really basic question (my first time using movie maker!).

I want to add some photos to some music, but with the first photo starting 6
seconds in from when the song starts. How do I do this?

I cannot get the photos to be placed on the time line 6 seconds in?!

Something must be in the timeline...
so it may be worth a try to create a
blank / black image with your image
editing software.

Then import the blank just like any
other image.

Insert the blank image in your timeline
first and you can adjust the duration by
placing your pointer on the edge of the
image until the double red arrow shows
up...then left click / drag the arrow until
the tool tip shows the duration you require.
