Inserting names/address from OL 2003

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question but here goes. I
often use AddressLayout in Word/Office 2003 for addressing envelopes or
labels or occasionally inserting a contact's name and address in a letter.
Most of the time it works fine, with the addressee's name First/MI/Last,
company if applicable, etc. But for reasons I cannot discern there are a few
contacts where OL puts the Last name first. These appear to be entered in
OL exactly the same as the ones which function correctly. I have included
my current text for AddressLayout below. Any suggestions?

{<PR_DISPLAY_NAME>}
{{<PR_TITLE>}
}{{<PR_COMPANY_NAME>}
}{<PR_POSTAL_ADDRESS>}

FWIW I tried changing the first line to{<PR_GIVEN_NAME} {<PR_SURNAME>} but
instead of getting First Name/Last Name I got a blank line! That's even
more of a puzzle except that it is a little academic because I really want
First Name/MiddleName or Initial/LastName exactly as I entered it in OL.
Using {<PR_DISPLAY_NAME>}seems like the most straightforward way to do this.

I had posted this originally on the Word/Document Mgmt forum. The
recommended solution--open the problem contact and then close it--had no
effect and the MVP recommended posting the issue in an Outlook forum.

Verify that the contacts that fail to use the right order have the names
entered in the right order. Open the contact and double click on the full
name field. Are the names in the correct fields?
