i inserted .wav music file on my slide show. i thought that wav music
files are embedded in the slide show. music cannot be heard when i
email it to other people. when i view the slide show on my computer, i
can hear the music. why is it that when i email it, they can't hear
the music?

Hi You might think that you are embedding the files but if the file is say
over a certain size then your settings in Power Point might stop them from
being embedded. You need to go into Power Point then Tools/Options/ and then
the General tab. You will see that it will say Link Sounds with File Size
greater than ..... you will find that the size there will be less than the
music file you have. Enlarge this number and ... good luck.

Note that only WAV files can be embedded. Other sound files -- MP3, MIDI,
etc. -- are not embedded, regardless of size.

Also, this setting is not "retroactive." After you reset the size in
Tools|Options, you have to reinsert the WAV if you want it to be embedded.
