Inserting multiple pictures into Powerpoint

I want to insert a lot of photos into Powerpoint so that each photo is
inserted into a separate slide. If I select all the photos and insert them -
they all end up on the same slide - then it's a lot of work to cut & paste
them onto separate slides. How can I insert them easily so that they all end
up on separate slides?

One option is a photo album, depending on your PowerPoint version. Info is
