Inserting image

P

Patrick B

Hi all

I use frontpage 2002, I want to insert a picture in a cell of a table (5
column x 5 row).

I drag a picture from my image folder, and the cell will enlarge much more
than the picture size, about
10 times larger !

I want the cell to stay to it's original size, how can I do this?

Thanks

You need to look at your image, is it the exact size that you want to use in the cell?

Have you set any width attributes for the cells? If not, then what
you see is normal - the cells resize automatically in proportion to
the content in them. If the other cells have no content at all they
will shrink to almost nothing, and the picture cell will grow very
large. Adding content to the other cells will restore the widths to
an extent

Yes, and the cell is about 100 x 100 pixel and the image is about 70 x 60.

Thanks

Most times just by selecting all the cells and right click for cell properties

Select the cell, right click and choose properties. Set the cell
width in either % or pixels. If there are several adjoining cells in
the same row to have the same width, select them all and set the width
as above. Note that if you use % widths, the total width of all cells
in a row must add up to exactly 100%., and pixel widths must add to
the width of the table (if the table has a pixel width), allowing for
borders, cellspacing and padding.. Do not mix pixels and %.
