Inserting Flash movie into PowerPoint 2000

I'm trying to insert a flash movie into PowerPoint 2000 and all I get is a
white square.

Any help will be appreciated.
 
Charlotte, you can download a plug-in call swift point player. I know it
works in 2003, 2000 might be a different issue.

The only drawback is it diables the edit feature on the slide, which means
you can no longer just click on a slide to edit it. You need to click on the
edit slide button on the bottom left of the screen.
