inserting email signatures

I just got a new Dell with XP operating system and Outlook 2003. I've created my various signatures that I previously used. The problem is that when I'm creating an email and I drag down in Auto Text to Signatures, my signatures are not there. If I set the default to use the same signature with every email, that works, however, my other signature choices are still not available. What gives? Anyone else run into this?

Appreciate any info!!

If you use Word as the e-mail Editor you must have a default signature to be
able to change it. You can set signature options in Word by pressing the
little downarrow on the Options button.
With Outlook as the e-mail editor you can select a signature by clicking on
the signatures button.

thank you Roady! I didn't realize I had a choice between email editors. Switched to Outlook and works like a charm.

I am experiencing a simliar problem. i have created several signatures in
word the default and one other works. but when i go into autotext to change
signatures a couple are not available. if i use the problem ones as the
default they work but are still not available in the pull down list in
autotext. i have created them both in outlook 2003 and in word but the
problem still persists.
any ideas?

The signatures in AutoText and the signatures in Tools | Options are not the
same things. If you want to use both in both places, you need to create them
with both methods.

This is the simplest method I know: If you're using WordMail as the editor,
create multiple signatures in Tools | Options and make sure each account has
a default signature. If you want to use a different signature for the
current message, right-click the signature that Outlook inserted
automatically. From the pop-up menu, select either the name of the signature
you want to use or E-mail Signature to create a new one.
