EMAIL SIGNATURE

W

William

Outlook 03/XP
email format: HMTL
Microsoft Office Word 2003 in use for email editing

I have 5 different email signatures, depending on whether the email is
formal or not, personal or business, etc. I do not want to set any of them
up as auto-signatures since the purpose of my emails and email replys change
frequently. I can't find a quick way to manually insert the appropriate
signature.

MO Help advises to "click where you want to insert the signature," and then
Insert/Autotext/Signature. But none of my 5 signatures appears when I follow
that path.

Ideas? Thanks . . .

In the open email, can you not click on Insert > Signature and choose it from
there?

Create a blank signature and set that as the default. Signature switching
will now work.

Kathleen – No. I do not have the “Signature†option after I bring up the
“Insert†menu. I have to point to “Autotext†first. Then, after pointing to
signature, I only see my full name.

Robert – I created the blank signature, set it as default for outgoing.
Same result (see not to K. above)

Assign that blank signature to an account and then try it again.

Milly, I'm not sure I can assign a signature to any other account. I to
tools/options/mail format. There is a window with the label, "Select
signatures for an account," but there is only one option in that window:
"Microsoft Exchange Server." Nothing else is available when clicking on the
arrow to make the drop down menu visible (I am on a network).

Ideas?

You only have 1 account? Then assign the blank signature to it as the
default. Right click in the signature area to select a different signature.
You can add a single dot to the blank signature if you have issues finding
the signature area.
