inserting attachments in outlook email: locations vary-why?

E

etcetera

Does anyone know why sometimes when I include an
attachment to an email it shows up under the subject
line, and other times it shows up somewhere in the text
body of the email I'm sending in Outlook 2003? How can I
standardize where the insertion point for attachments is?

Thank you!

Where the attachment shows is due to the format of the mail - text
formats show the attach under the format line - html shows it in the
message body. Also replies are sent in the same format as received.
Go to 'Tools' 'Options' 'Mail Format' to set your default format.
Also check the properties for each 'To' address as you can specify
mail format for each.
