Inserting an Excel spreadsheet in to Powerpoint and then size it?

In Office 2003 I could insert an Excel spreadsheet as an object in to
Powerpoint and then size it. Since my workplace loaded 2007, I tried the
same function, but I cannot re-size the spreadsheet to see all the data I
require. I can copy and paste the spreadsheet, but this does not allow me to
work with the spreadsheet directly in Powerpoint. Is there some way I can
insert the spreadsheet and size it to show the data I need to show without
doing a work around?

If you copy/paste the spreadsheet onto the slide, you should get a paste
options button. Click it and choose the option that lets you embed the whole
workbook. That lets you work with the sheet directly in PPT.
