Inserting an EPS graphic into a document?

Hi all,

I need to insert a graphic into a document but ... I only have it in EPS
format. Can anyone recommend a free software that can open it and - ideally -
convert it into a GIF or a JPG?

Free? SnagIt from www.techsmith.com is not free, but there is a demo. It
will both open EPS files and convert them to GIF or JPG and do a variety of
other useful things with graphics.
