Inserting a PDF file into Word 2007

Hi, can someone please help. I am trying to insert a single page pdf file into a word document. I am doing this using insert object, and browse for file. What ever i do the pdf is displaying as an icon in the Word document (even though I have not got this option selected).

Any ideas?
