I know this sounds convoluted, but currently, the only way I've figured out
how to send someone a table grid with files inserted (imagine different
requested forms that need to be filled out, and each form has its own line in
a table, with a column for name, a column for comments, and a column for the
actual file), is to do the following:
Get the file into MS Outlook
copy/paste the file from MS Outlook (assume it's put into a task first) into
the Word grid spot.
Logic is that if I don't get it into Outlook, it seems to paste in as the
actual content of the file, not as an attachment inside the table grid. And
I don't see an option otherwise in Word ('07) to insert file. Just see
clipart and others, but not a file as a file goes.
Any help on whether this is the only option that exists?
