Insert Windown Movie Maker into power point?

I would like insert a Windows Movie Maker project into a power point slide.
When I would have thought that I could just insert - Movie from file, but
power point then looks for movie clips and I suppose the movie maker file
isn't the correct format??

Jenine,

Move the video file to the same folder where you saved the presentation and
then insert it. Also, if you are unable to insert it you may be working
with an old version of Movie Maker. If that is the case I suggest
downloading and installing the latest version from the Microsoft web site.

Sorry to suggest this (but I dont know how well you know movie maker) when
you say "movie maker project" you did use "save movie file" not "save
project" to create the file you're trying to insert??

actually I figured it out.... I created a movie maker project (in this case
I used the titles graphics and layed down a audio clip), and then saved as a
Movie file - DV-AIV. I could then import the clip into power point....

Using DV/AVI will give you huge video files for not a lot of extra quality. I
would try high qualty wmv or even create your own profile if you want
excellent quality and much smaller files. If you dont know how to do this I
can send you a custom high qualty profile if you email me.

Did that answer the question / help?
