insert picture

I posted this in "General Question", but I think this is a better place to
ask. How can I change the default file path for inserting a picture from a
file? I would like to change the default path from "My Pictures" to a folder
I specify?

Ah - the "cheatey" way to do this was to put a shortcut to the folder I
wanted in the "My Pictures" folder. I would still like to know what property
controls this.

If you have TweakUI installed, you can change the default at My
Computer>Special Folders>My Pictures.

Same as doing the Registry Hack Annie posted.

Although I am usually hesitant to modify the registry, I have to admit this
