Insert hyperlink stopped working

In a spreadsheet where I am trying to linke to saved resumes - for some
reason the Insert ribbon functions are all greyed out - nothing is working
there anymore. What did I do???
 
When functions like Insert or paste are greyed out, first check that
Protections have not been accidentally applied.
