insert hyperlink in a protected Word document

In Word 2003 SP1, I have a protected doc with many Text Form Fields. The
protection is set to use all the available Formatting restrictions (which
include Hyperlinks), and Editing restrictions allow 'Filling in forms' for
each of the four Sections.

I want to manually insert a hyperlink to an external network location which
changes due to different product names & versions (aka
\\server\folder1\release12\flames.doc or
\\server5\userDR\Dogs\versionAB\new.doc).
However, the only way I can see the 'Hyperlink...' selection is to unprotect
the doc, which is not acceptable.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Spy Hill
