Insert a range name in an array formula

I'm using an array formula to make calculations on certain data on another
worksheet. I would like to insert a range into the array formula as one of
the criteria the array uses to determine which data to look at. Would
appreciate any tips.

you may provide some more details. e.g. the current formulas used, what
range you exactly want to use, etc
