Insert a PDF?

In the PDF, save as a jpg or png, then back to PowerPoint to Insert >
Picture from File
or
In PDF use the snapshot tool to outline the image then copy. Move to PPT and
paste the image.

The first option is preferred for controlling file size. The latter is
faster for 1-up copy/pasting.

format WMF, which you can import and edit in Powerpoint. Graphics,
images and text strings are all supported and reproduced as such in
WYSIWYG layout.
