Ins: Run-time error 53

To anyone who can help,

I was running Limewire one day, and I downloaded a program. The
download did not appear to be infected by a virus, otherwise my
PC-cillin should have noticed. Anyway, after installing the program,
Limewire began to launch on it's own, and after shutting it down, it
would only restart. I removed Limewire, and I started to get this
error message "run-time error 53" file not found Ins. I queried
google, and came up with nothing remotely close to this situation with
Limewire. I later redownloaded limewire, and since then, Limewire
starts on every start up, regardless to disabling on startup(options).
I have uninstalled limewire, but I'm back to the run-time error.
Please help(Windows XP Pro, SP2)

Have you scanned for other nasties besides what PC-cillin can detect?
Much malware can come in that isn't viral. It takes running a
combination of programs in safe mode to see if the system is infected.
