Input of info into running XP Batch files

Hi

Anyone know of a free utility for Windows XP that enables a user to enter a
number or string into a batch file, while it's running, (in a similar way to
say the old "Input a" or "Input a$" worked in BASIC) ?

OK ... not to worry. Just dicovered that the command

set /p Choice=prompt

achieves this
