Ink printer brand--Epson,HP, Canon, which is best?

I have had an ink printer of EPSON. But it has a permanent problem that can
not be recovered with the printer head. and it would cost as much as a whole
new printer to subsitute with a new printer head. It is so disappointing
that I bought it just three years ago....

So, Ink printer brand--Epson,HP, Canon, which is best brand? Maybe the price
of ink printer is low, but the consuming speed of ink and "head" is
stunning....

Which is best is a matter of opinion and preference. I myself have always
been happy with HP's.

I had an epson for 3 years and had good service..it was a basic printer,
nothing fancy that I paid $150 I picked up a new cannon which I am pleased
with and paid $99...HOWEVER if I replaced all of the ink I may as well buy a
new printer for the cost is about the same...go figure on that one..

Try this little App that resets the need service warning.
You may get more life out of your old epson, if it supports your model.
Go here to download the SSC Service Utility

if it works let us know... you may still need to buy a new printer if
the heads are really no good and you are getting bad printouts but the
program works..I go for epson for cheap running costs, if you use none
epson brand ink..

What kind of ink is that?
Typically a $99 printer takes 2 ink cartriges, one black and one color,
which cost around $15-$20 each.
Around $35 for new ink is much less than $99 for a printer. Either you're
way overpaying for ink or you got some weird printer that requires super
special expensive inks. If your printer comes with inks and costs as much
as the inks cost seperately, you might as well go buy a few more printers
for spares, or else you just need to spend a bit more on a printer that
costs less to refill.
