But, as you point out for ink, Costco doesn't tell you who their
supplier is, Kirkland, is by your perverse definition "NOT A BRAND" and
they are "in da business" (excuse me, I meant to say "DEY ARE IN DA
BUSINESS") whatever tf that is supposed to mean.

Ron, stand by for another all cap bullshit lie from meashershithead!

NO NOT AT ALL. NO MESS. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GETTING. IT WILL NOT
CLOG THE PRINTER. AND YOU HAVE A LARGE REPUTABLE SUPPLIER.

The exact same goes for good aftermarket inks. Except for OEM you pay quite
a bit more. For aftermarket you save.

Only dumber people make mistakes and let refiling become a messy process,
buy from anyone and let there printer clog (even with OEM ink).

YOU ARE WELCOME TO CALL THE MERCHANDISING DEPARTMENT IN SEATTLE AND THEY
WILL TELL YOU.

COSTCO IS LARGE ENOUGH SO THAT IT IS A STORE PRIVATE BRAND. STAPLES AND
OFFICE DEPOT ARE IN THE SAME POSITION. THEN YOU CAN DIFFERENTIATE
BETWEEN A MFG BRAND AND A STORE BRAND. YOU COULD EVEN SAY THE SAME
THING ABOUT WALMART WHICH I THINK IS A TERRIBLE STORE.
We have a revalation here! Measpite has agreed that if a BIG company
relabels, then they're OK! All we need is for Office Depot or Staples to
sell their own "brand" of ink and he'll say that's OK!

Oh, excuse me. I was using logic.

KODAK IS NOT RECOMMENDED ON CANON PRINTERS. IT DOES A POOR JOB. I USE
COSTCO/KIRKLAND AND I HAVE HAD NO FADING PROBLEMS IN OVER A YEAR.

You're halfway there. Now think of how much better it would be if you also
used aftermarket ink. You could put in the new ink right after you take
your pills.

Canon Printer - $129
Anti-psychotic prescription - $49
Kirkland Photo Paper - $19.95
Another anti-psychotic prescription - $49

Measkite refilling - Priceless!

you could even say the same thing about walmart which I think is a terrible store

Or Pelikan / Nu-Kote, which is actually sold at walmart under it's own
name and under the Walmart label. In fact Measkite him self has bought
the Pelikan brand at office depot for his adding machine {Nov 4 2005,
7:39 pm}. It said it was crap, but that doesn't change the fact that
he knows the brand personaly, and admits it is a brand.

Those store brands are often really easy to look up. The first digits
of the barcode tell you who packaged the package. Officedepot looks up
to Nu-kote. Officemax I believe is NCR but I can not verify this
presently.

I've never used NCR nor Nu-Kote/Pelikan personaly.
<edit mine>

I'm actually close to seattle, and I have taken the time to talk to
them about the subject. I honestly don't know if Kirkland is Ilford or
Pelikan, but I have spent much time and no one I have spoken to has any
idea what it is. Provide a phone number, and a name of the person who
told you that. No one who I've called or seen would tell me.

How so?

Properly filled and used, aftermarket ink pays for itself in a few
refills, compared to the cost of OEM ink, even if the aftermarket ink
eventually causes printer failure.
LIKE THE ONES YOU READ ABOUT HERE

And other places too, but the key is the "dumber" people and newbies
that buy the wrong ink, fill incorrectly, and mis-use their printer
(which can also clog up or leak with OEM ink).
