inheritance at webform

Hi,

I read the microsoft article: Templates Web Form (sorry it´s spanish)

this article explain how to have design inheritance.

But i have some problems with dropdownlist and calendar because they don´t
store their selected index. (EnableViewState is true)

I use master pages for page templates. The idea was expanded by Paul Wilson.
You can find an article on his master pages and source code at
http://authors.aspalliance.com/PaulWilson/Articles/?id=14. I use the master
pages and have never had issues with controls persisting their viewstate.

Sorry I can't read Spanish or I would comment on that article.
