Inherit from parent permissions

I have over 600 subdirectories that are home folders which the inherit
permission from parent folder un-checked. How can I change these 600
subdirectories to inherit permissions from parent folder without loosing the
explicit allow permissions set on the folders?

I am a little confused as you say they are already inheriting permissions?
You may want to try the xcalcs tool to add explicit permissions to those
folders if you need to just be sure to use the /E switch for edit. You may
need to experiment a bit so be sure to have a full backup or two just in
case or use a test machine. --- Steve
