Infra Red ?

Has anybody an infra red device working under Win2000?
I have a serial IR device all setting seems to be OK but
the icon doesn't appear in the taskbar and nothing happens
when I hold my cell phone/camera in front of the device.

It is a Siemens C72 phone and they don't give support
for win98 , great but on win 98 everything works fine.

Is there some new software available or what can I do?

Thanks but I don't find any answer about my problem.
EG the icon that will not appear in the taskbar and
why nothing happenas when the C72 is in range of the

Dumb question but:

The ir support is turned on in the bios I suppose?

Yes it is, but I try again switching it off
