InfoTag - organize files with descriptions

<SNIP>
How many times have you looked at an arcane file name and asked
yourself what that was for? No more guessing with InfoTag. You can
attach a single line description, up to 255 characters, to any file.
Just drag a file form explorer and drop it onto the InfoTag icon, and
then enter your information from there.

Have also a look at FileNote:

http://www.moonsoftware.com/freeware.asp

FileNote is little FREEWARE shell extension for Windows95/98/NT4 that
adds one command to context-menu of file object. This command lets
you easily edit or create text file, that has the same name as
the initial file, but with the TXT extension.
For example you have file MyImage.jpg. If you right-click on that
file and choose FileNote from context-menu, new text file called
MyImage.txt is created and Notepad is opened to edit that text file.
If text file with that name already exists, it's just opened for
viewing/editing.
Have fun, Fred
