Assuming your on a dial-up, one, your ISP has an idle time function that
disconnects after a preset amount of the connection being idle, two, if you
are using Outlook Express for e-mail, if it is set to automatically check
for mail at specified intervals, be sure Outlook Express is not set to
disconnect after sending and receiving e-mail as that will cause it to
disconnect after it checks for new messages.
