info pop-ups and WindUpdates

I like my taskbar on the left side of the screen but when
it is there, then the MSAntiSpyware messages just scroll
rapidly up the screen starting at the lower right corner
and rapidly scrolling up off the screen.
Also it continually detects WindUpdates at every bootup and
never actually gets rid of this spyware or maybe it just
can't block it from comming back because it is there again
on every reboot (even though I delete it with the
MSAntiSpyware program). anybody got any ideas how to
resolve these issues??

Steve Dodson from Microsoft anounced an update to the MSAS before the
expiration date that will solve the flying alerts problem.

Have you tried to start the system and get rid of WindUpdates in the Safe
mode (F8 during startup)?
