Individual Settings for Separate Users

I have Windows XP and Outlook XP. We have two separate user accounts in
Windows XP and I would like the Outlook XP to have separate settings for each
of the user accounts. We want it so that when either one opens Outlook Today
the task list, appointments, and contacts (when we send email) are separate
from each other. We currently have the outlook setup for the initial user
and we can not seem to get the second user to look any different than the
first.

When logging in with separate Windows users the settings are already per
user. Make sure you are not both configured to use the same pst-file. You
can check this by going to Control Panel-> Mail

I hope I understand your questions:

This may be too basic but here goes. Whatever ISP you are using will
provide you with X number of email addresses for your monthly fee. You will
need to call them and ask them to assign your email addresses. Sometimes you
can choose your user id, sometimes they choose it. My ISP chooses mine and
it is something like: gylr7p582. (YUCK and I cannot change it!!) They will
also give you a password that you can usually change.

If you cannot pick your user name, then go to your ISP website and specify
an ALIAS. This will be the email address you give to others users to email
you: (e-mail address removed). This second email address is what will be
registered to Outlook.

OK. Now at your XP log on screen, log onto the first users name. Open
Outlook. Choose Tools> Email Accounts> Add a new account>Next. Now at this
window, this information you will get from your ISP. POP3, etc,

In the next window you will fill in
USER NAME -- this will be the name that appears to others when they receive
your email. Phil Jones, Super Real Estate Agent
EMAIL ADDRESS-- This will be the: (e-mail address removed)

USER NAME: This will be the user id assigned to you by your ISP
Log on: That will be the password assigned by your ISP.

The next two fields of info you will have to get from your ISP.

Once you click next, it will send you a TEST email and all will be well for
user #1.

Once finished, log off for User 1, and log back in XP under the name of User
2 and repeat the process above and all should work without problem.

If this was too detailed, I apologize.

Take care---

This post looks close to what I am looking for, but not quite.

I changed from Outlook 97 to Outlook 2000. I have created three POP3
accounts in outlook 2000. The problem is that when I launch Outlook 2000 it
opens to only 1 of my accounts. When I was using 97 and would lauch outlook I
would get a drop down with all three accounts and I could choose which one I
wanted to open. How do I set this up again?

Thanks!
