Indexing problem

I am having a problem with indexing not running. It worked at first, but I
thought it was not indexing properly. So, I clicked Rebuild in Advanced
Options for indexing. I did this several days ago and nothing is being
indexed now at all. I know in XP there was an indexing service that needed
to be running. In Vista, I do not find the indexing server in the list of
services. Any ideas on how to get this started again?

Thanks,

If you right click the HDD in Computer Browser and select properties does
the Index box have a check in it?

Try following these steps..

In the start menu's Search, type "indexing" and you should "Indexing
Options" showing up.
Open that application and here you must be able all your indexing options,
like which folders to index, where your index will be located, which files
to be indexed etc etc. All these can be done by selecting the "modify" and
Advanced buttons on tht application.

Hope this solves your issue.
