INDEXES AND RELATIONSHIPS

I have been using this particular access database on our network for more
than ten years and have not experienced this problem. We recently tried to
upgrade two of our work stations. When we try to use the database on the new
computers it corrupts the indexes and relationships on the server tables. We
have a total of 15 workstations and they all seem to work well as long as the
new machines are not trying to save data to the server tables. I have
archived all the old records and have reduced the number of records in the
server database to less than 5000 records per table. All of the workstations
and server are using access 2003.
The company that supplied the new computers have been building our machines
and setting up our network for more then 15 years. They continue to tell me
that this is an Access problem. Has anyone had any experience with this type
of situation?

Check out the suggestions at

Access is VERY sensitive to network noise - more so than some network sniffing
software, I understand. The network people are right in a sense, in that
network glitches that leave Word or Excel unfazed can totally wreck Access -
but I strongly suspect that the NIC's on these machines are at fault.
