index.dat file

I thought the index .dat file was a 'locked " file..If I download a program
to erase it can it cause any problems to my system?? just wondering

No, there are many programs available. I use IE Privacy Keeper.

although remember to close all ie applications before cleaning ! that shd do
it with out any problems
