Incrementing Rows and Columns

I'm trying to compare two lists of names. I would like to compare the first
name in list one against all of list two. Once that cycles through, I would
like to then increment to the second name in list one and repeat the process.
Is there anyway that I can set the number of a cell definition (A"#") to a
variable so that I can change it as I please?
